Building hardware for these types of boats is a very specialized endeavor. Seldom are any two boats "layed up" the same. So components, if properly made, must be tailored to the specific boat being worked on. Off the shelf parts just won't cut it when safety, speed, and durability are your concerns. And those concerns are paramount to us. We have built many fast boats over the years, and hardware for many more, but we have never built hardware or components that would compromise the safety of the operator for the sake of speed or quickness. Fabricating a part too light or not strong enough for the intended application is not an option. Racing components are built as light as possible, without sacrificing strength, durability, or the structural integrity of the boat.
When the hardware, and the setup is right, you can pour the power to it, and it will respond. When the hardware, and the setup is wrong, you can pour all the power in the world to it, and all you get is a boat that won't handle or get out of it's own way! Which would you prefer?
